Sports Premium Impact Review

Sports Premium Impact Review 2015 - 2016

2016-2017 Sports Premium Expenditure

In 2016/2017 the school allocated the Sports Premium grant to developing PE across the school.

£8,546 was the total received in the academic year.

This was allocated as follows:

Equipment: £2,319 (including a running track extension and equipment to improve dance teaching)

Training   : £1,562 (including staff costs)

Activities:   £ 915 (skill development for pupils in a range of activities such as Handball)

Partnership: £3,750 (tournament participation, Young Leader training, Bikeability etc)

The impact, as in the above statement, has been that our school continues to work at the Gold Kitemark standard; children have had additional opportunities for sport, teacher professional development has been enhanced, particularly in Dance and in Outdoor Education (both of which were a strong focus of our development this year) and children have a greater awareness of healthy lifestyles.
